Intelligence Officer to S2 at Cyber Defense Unit
The Cyber Defense Unit (1.CFF) is part of the Armed Forces' capability for armed combat in the cyber domain. We defend the Armed Forces' command support systems through both proactive reconnaissance activities and reactive management of IT security incidents. Our dimensioned adversaries have significant resources and high competence, which places high demands on us to protect the systems. As the unit's operations involve handling live missions, you will be an important player in defending Sweden and strengthening our overall capability in the cyber domain.
We are currently seeking an intelligence officer for S2 with experience in intelligence services and an interest in information technology, as well as a desire to serve at the forefront of the Armed Forces' technical capabilities.
Main Responsibilities
As an intelligence officer at S2, you will be involved in developing and shaping the intelligence service at the unit. You will be part of the command group along with other section leaders. Since the unit as a whole is under development, this means that in your role as section leader S2, you will play an important role in contributing wise thoughts and new perspectives to the operations. In addition to developing the section itself, your main responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with planning, management, and production of intelligence at the unit.
- Planning and following up the unit's missions together with operations leaders.
- Collaborating within the intelligence function in cyber defense.

Competence Requirements
- Officer (OF/SO)
- Professional experience in intelligence services within the Armed Forces.
- Intelligence training equivalent to Grunder Und (FMUndSäkC)
- Driving license B
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form
Desirable Qualifications
- Education and/or experience in IT security, data communication, information or management systems.
- An understanding of data systems and networks as well as a technical interest.
- Experience in staff work at least at the tactical level.
- Experience in intelligence management.

Other Requirements

For employment with the Armed Forces, Swedish citizenship is required. Employment entails national and international duty to serve.
A security screening with a background check will be conducted prior to employment. The selection process will be supplemented with psychological tests.
Employment type: Permanent employment, a 6-month probationary period applies for those who are currently not employed within the Armed Forces.
